Mark R. Keefer, 38
CAMPBELL - Mark R. Keefer, 38, met his Savior March 28, 2014, at his residence due to a brain tumor.
Mark was born April 7, 1975, in Youngstown, the son of Raymond and Judy (Seifert) Keefer.
He was a 1993 Boardman High School graduate and attended Kent State and Youngstown State Universities.
He worked for Homer Laughlin China, Ikon Office Solutions, and Jerry Hinn China in New Waterford.
Mark was a caring and compassionate person who was dedicated to helping those who suffered from a mental illness or drug addiction. He was looking forward to becoming a Pastor in the future.
Mark was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed all sports. He loved all types of music, especially worship music. Playing cards, movies, and video games were his favorite pastimes.
He was a former member of the Bridge of Hope Church and was presently a member of the New Life Assembly Church.
He is survived by his mother, Judy of Poland; two sisters, Justine Vidrios of Phoenix, and Juleen Keefer of Boardman; a nephew, Bradley Vidrios; two nieces, Rayna and Meleah Vidrios; and his maternal grandmother, Mary Seifert of Massillon. He also leaves his godparents, Raymond and Sharon Seifert.
He will be sadly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins most especially, Danny Seifert and Diane Kell.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond G. Keefer; maternal grandfather, Joseph Seifert; paternal grandmother, Minetta Keefer; and paternal grandfather, Roscoe Keefer.
Services will be held at the New Life Assembly Church, 2250 E. Western Reserve Road in Poland, Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob Reese officiating.
Friends and family will be received Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St. in Poland and Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
