Marjorie Ann Blackman, 85 Wrentham- Marjorie Ann Blackman, 85, formerly of Struthers and Poland, died Monday evening at her residence in Wrentham, Massachusetts. She was born August 29, 1919 in Struthers, a daughter of John J. and Anna Louise (Tauberschmidt) Hanley. She was born and raised in Struthers, moved to Poland in 1941, and moved to Massachusetts after retirement. Mrs. Blackman was a graduate of Struthers High School and attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Her hobbies included reading and needlework. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husband Myron A. Blackman, a lifelong resident of Poland, whom she married August 6, 1940, died September 4, 1980. She leaves two daughters, Bonnie (Al) Smith from Wrentham, MA and Sue (Bill) Holman of Hudson, OH; a son, M. James Blackman from Gaithersburg, MD; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Hoffman. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Friends may call Saturday from 12:00-12:45 PM at the funeral home. Donations may be made to MSPCA, 350 S.
