Marion V. Paine

Marion V. Paine, 81 Poland- Marion V. Paine, 81, of Poland, died early Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Mrs. Paine was born February 3, 1925 in Niles, a daughter of John and Grace Vandergrift Byrom. She was raised in Niles and moved to Poland in 1946. She was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and attended business school. She worked in the Maintenance Agreement Department for Sears for over 16 years. Mrs. Paine was a member of the Gospel Baptist Church in Poland and the Poland Homemaker Club. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading. Mrs. Paine was a very caring person, always giving to someone. Her husband Wendell Paine, whom she married January 12, 1946, died February 15, 1978. She leaves one daughter, Cheryl (Adrian) Wall of Poland; one son, Elmer (Kathy) Paine of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Ruth Kline of Niles; her care giver and sister-in-law, Ellen Behnke of New Middletown; four grandchildren, Brian, Katie, Heidi, and Abbie Wall. Besides her parents, and husband, two brothers, Donald and Frederick Byrom, one sister, Alice Byrom and a granddaughter Shari Wall preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Monday 11:00 A.M. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Friends may call Sunday from 3-6 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent at www.beckerobits.com .
