Marion E. McGinnis

Youngstown- Marion E. McGinnis, 50, died Friday afternoon, October 18, 2013 at the Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. McGinnis was born January 8, 1963 in Frankfurt, Germany, and came to Ohio in her early 20's.
Mrs. McGinnis previously worked for St. Joseph Medical Center for the emergency room in registration, for Dinesol Plastics in Niles as a press operator, and was a homemaker.
Marion enjoyed collecting angels and had a love for animals.
In addition to her mother, Rosemarie Kaempf of Frankfurt, Germany, she is survived by her husband, Patrick "Shawn" McGinnis, whom she married March 25, 1995; two daughters, Angela Thatcher of Columbus and Samantha Thatcher of Mecca; two brothers, Sascha and Matthias Kaempf of Frankfurt, Germany; and mother-in-law, Tessie McGinnis of Girard.
In addition to her father, John C. Kaempf, Marion was preceded in death by her father-in-law, George McGinnis.
Family and friends will be received Thursday from 4-6:45 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
