BOARDMAN Marilyn Myers, 58, died Monday evening, March 3, 2014, at St.
Elizabeth Health Center.
Marilyn was born Nov. 10, 1955, in Youngstown, a daughter of George and Mary Sapashe Paulin.
She was raised in Youngstown and attended Wilson High School.
Marilyn was artistic and rendered beautiful drawings of landscapes and people. She was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Most important to her was her family, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She cherished her time with them and when a family member¹s health began to fail, Marilyn was always at their side as a caregiver. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves her husband, Gene, whom she married Nov. 10, 1979; her daughter, Melissa (Michael) Pollifrone of Struthers; sister, Katherine (Roger) Schmid of Boardman; her two grandsons, Ryan and Nicholas; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Mackey; and three brothers, George Paulin, Frank Mokri, and infant Frank Mokri.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
