Marietta Morell Mainer

Marietta Morell Mainer, 87 Lowellville- Marietta Morell Mainer, 87, of 810 W. Wood Street, formerly of Struthers, died Tuesday morning at her residence. Mrs. Mainer, lovingly referred to as Aunt Chi Chi by her nieces and nephews was born October 9, 1916 in Struthers, a daughter of Peter and Antoinette Rossi Morell. She lived in Struthers until moving to Lowellville 10 years ago. She was a sales clerk for Stroussâa�a��, downtown Youngstown and then worked for Packard Electric on the harness line. She was a former member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Struthers, a member of the Lowellville Park Apartments Council and was an avid card player. Her husband Joseph Mainer whom she married October 16, 1947 died March 25, 1978. She leaves one sister, Ann Colaluca of New Castle; one brother, Albert Morell of Boardman and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, six brothers, Samuel, John, Carmen, Peter, Thomas and Alex Morell and four sisters, Rose Barone, Lucy Barone, Mary Ziemann and Alice Morell preceded her in death. Funeral services will be today, 10:30 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 11:00 AM at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church.
