Marie Thomas

Marie Thomas, 89 Boardman- Marie Thomas, 89, a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, departed this life on Tuesday, January 17, after an extended illness. She was born September 27, 1916 in Youngstown, a daughter of Mike and Katherine Ivanicka Klus. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John in 1988 and her brother John Klus. She graduated from Campbell Memorial High School in 1934 and retired from Isalyâa�a��s Dairy. Marie enjoyed talking about playing on the Campbell Memorial womenâa�a��s basketball team, cooking and traveling. She will deeply missed by her daughters, Kathy Lundeen of Poland and Sandra Kuhn of Sierra Vista, AZ; her sons, John Thomas of Boardman and Robert Thomas of Tucson, AZ; and her four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
