Struthers - Maria Elaine Sybelnik, 62, passed away April 27, 2015 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
Maria was born February 18, 1953 in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Helen Paliga Nesteruk.
She was a 1971 graduate of Chaney High School. She enjoyed watching all her grandchildren, cooking, baking, and music.
She will be remembered for her outgoing spirit and was referred to as the "neighborhood mom."
She is survived by one daughter,Traci (Travis) Roe of Avon; two sons, Matthew Sybelnik of Struthers and Frank (Amanda) Sybelnik of Howland; five grandchildren, Gavin, Shane, Lilah, Adele, and Alana; one sister, Michelle (Charles) Oliver of Struthers; and two nephews, Geoff and Jon; and one niece, Sara.
Besides her parents, Maria was preceded in death by two brothers, John and James Nesteruk.
Funeral services will be Friday at 7PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St., Struthers.
Friends and family will be received Friday from 4-6:45PM at the funeral home.
