Marguerite B. Perdos "Ma", 89, of Youngstown, OH, formerly of Cadogan, PA, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 21, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
She was born on June 21, 1925 in Bellwood Gardens, PA, daughter of the late, Frank J. and Christina (Kurzinger) Greenthaner.
Her husband, Edward F. Perdos, whom she married on September 11, 1948, preceded her in death on November 24, 1997. Her daughter, Cynthia Schoenecker also preceded her in death on January 15, 2002.
She enjoyed bird watching, reading and being with people so much that she volunteered at the Ford City Public Library in Ford City PA and the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Shop in Kittanning, PA. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (William) Soloski of Youngstown, OH, with whom she made her home; her son Joseph E. (Rhonda) Perdos of Cadogan, PA; son-in-law, Robert "Bob" Schoenecker of Cadogan, PA; her sister, Louise (Andrew) Zemba of Delray Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Robin (Donald) Blose of Ford City,PA, Michael J. Soloski of Youngstown, OH and Britanny Perdos of Cadogan, PA; two great granddaughters, Cereese Cynthia Blose of Ford City, PA and Aaliyah Ann Soloski of Youngstown, OH.
She was a member of St. Lawrence R.C. Church of Cadogan and the Altar Rosary Society at the church.
Friends may call, Saturday, January 17, 2015, from 10-11am at St. Lawrence R.C. Church of Cadogan, where a memorial mass will follow, celebrated by her pastor, the Rev. Fr. Bryan Summers officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis of Paola Cemetery, South Buffalo Twp.
