Massillon - Marguerite E. Janosko, 92, formerly of Struthers, Ohio, died January 13, 2012 at the Hanover House in Massillon.
Mrs. Janosko was born May 23, 1919 in Struthers, Ohio, a daughter of John Benjamin and Mabel Irene (Potter) Sharp.
She was a graduate of Struthers High School and was a homemaker. She previously worked for the former Almart in Boardman for five years.
Mrs. Janosko was a member of the Christian Assembly Church in Youngstown and a former member of the Dorcas Minsitries. Her hobbies included square dancing, ball room dancing, walking daily with her lifelong friend, Lucille Hrinak, and tending to her yard, which she always kept always meticulous.
Her husband, John Janosko, whom she married September 20, 1939, died January 18, 1989. She is survived by her son, Richard (Joan) Janosko of Twinsburg, Ohio; daughter, Jane Wieland of Canton, Ohio; three sisters, Gladys Kennedy of Houston, Texas, Della Mae (Bob) Mines of Orangeville, Pennsylvania, and Mary Lou (Bob) Laird of Austintown, Ohio; two brothers, Donald Sharp of Tampa, Florida and Paul (Anna Marie) Sharp of Liberty, Ohio; and 6 grandchildren, Jennifer and Lindsey Janosko, Susan (Dave) Broadwell and DianeWieland, and Danny and Michael Janosko; and five great grandchildren, McKenna and Brynn, and Hannah, Naomi, and Samuel.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Janosko; two sisters, Betty Gibbons and Alice Soccorsy; and five brothers, William, Wayne, David, Albert, and Ronald Sharp.
Private services were held Sunday, January 15th at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland. Interment took place at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown.
