Boardman
Margery A. Di Carlo, 86 of Boardman passed away March 19, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Main Campus.
Margery was born on March 8, 1928 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Ignatius A. and Sarah T. Shuttleworth Crossen.
Her family moved to Youngstown when she was very young and she attended St. Nicholas Elementary School in Struthers. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1946.
Margery married Anthony Di Carlo on June 29, 1946. She moved to Boardman, and drove bus for twenty years.
Margery was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.
Her beloved husband died on January 20, 2002.
Margery leaves five children, two daughters, Donna (Michael) Tallon of Florida and Diane Murphy of Boardman, three sons, David (Debbie) Di Carlo of Alabama, Dale (Jan) Di Carlo of Canton, and Daniel (Alma) Di Carlo of California, six grandchildren, Michael (Stephanie) Murphy of Washington, DC, Dana (Robert) Thornton of Alabama, Doug (Jamie) Di Carlo of Alabama, Sarah (Jeremy) Banzhof of Cuyahoga Falls, Brian (Anna) Di Carlo of Tennessee, and Lisa Di Carlo of California. And six great grandchildren, Austin, Abigail, Madison, Isabelle, Elinor, and Brandon, Also, a sister Dolores Magda and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Margery was preceded in death by her three brothers, Richard, James and Bernard Crossen.
There will be no calling hour or services.
