New Middletown - Margaret H. Tablack, 91, of New Middletown, formerly of Struthers, died Thursday morning, September 22, 2016 at Masternick Memorial.
Margaret was born September 7, 1925 in Campbell, a daughter of Michael and Albina McClosky Porvaznick.
She was raised in Campbell and was a 1943 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. During World War II Margaret worked for McKenzie Muffler building airplane tanks. After the War, Margaret married her childhood sweetheart, John Tablack on September 7, 1946. They made their home in Campbell and later moved to Struthers where they raised their family in Nebo. Margaret was a proud homemaker. While her husband worked two jobs, Margaret raised her twin daughters. She enjoyed making a home for her family. She was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed taking care of the vegetables that John grew in the garden. Margaret and her family also enjoyed traveling out west, to Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona and all of the National Parks. When John was Commander of the Struthers VFW Post 3538 Margaret was active in the Ladies Auxiliary.
Margaret leaves to cherish her memories, her husband John of 70 years; daughter, Kathy Hamilla of Struthers; two grandchildren, Rachel (George Beaver) Hamilla of Leetonia and Kyle Stevens of Austintown; and one sister-in-law, Rita Porvaznick of Roseville, MI.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen, and son-in-law, James Stevens; sister, Dorothy Rottuno; and brother William Porvaznick.
A private graveside service will be held Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville. Friends and family are invited to attend a dinner Saturday evening at 5:00 PM at the Davidson-Becker Family Center, 10 Spring Street, Struthers to celebrate Margaret's life.

Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
