Margaret D. Schrader, 87 formerly of Boardman passed away peacefully Thursday morning, May 19, 2011 at Stow-Glen Retirement Village in Stow.

Mrs. Schrader was born Feb. 9, 1924 in Youngstown a daughter of Clarence and Mary Alice Danks Bailey.

She was a 1942 graduate of South High School, after attending St. Patrick's Parochial School. She attended Youngstown College and took continuing education classes throughout her career. She had worked at various companies in the Youngstown area, such as Merrill Lynch and Hill, Barth and King. She held the positions of manager's secretary and office manager.

Margaret "Peggy" enjoyed reading and preparing holiday meals for the family.


She leaves to cherish her memory; three daughters, Patricia L. Florey of Sioux Falls, N.D., Susan Schrader of Austintown and Margaret A. Schrader of Ravenna; a son Robert J. (Jeannette) Schrader,Jr. of Poland; two sisters, Catherine "Kay"(Floyd "Dick") Vaughn of Milton Township Mary "Micky" (Michael"Pete")Korda,Jr. of Austintown; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her parents is her husband, Robert J. Schrader whom she married July 5,1947 and who passed on August 9,2009; a daughter Christine Anderson; one sister, Patricia Bailey and three brothers; Richard ,Clarence and James Bailey.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Stow-Glen Retirement Village, 4285 Kent Rd., Stow, OH 44224.
