Margaret P. Reed

Margaret P. Reed, 82, of New Middletown, died Tuesday afternoon June 19, 2018 at Masternick memorial in New Middletown from complications of Parkinson's Dementia.

She was born August 10, 1935 in East Liverpool, OH, daughter of Earl Delo and Thelma Elizabeth (Dailey) Barrett and had been a lifelong area resident.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, baking, and gambling at Mountaineer. She attended all sports in Leetonia and assisted in Leetonia School sports fundraising, she was known as "Grandma Reed" at the school, and was a loving grandmother to her own.

She leaves four brothers, Oakley Delo of Leetonia, Jack Barrett, Joe Lewis Barrett, and, Daniel Barrett all of Fredrickstown, OH; three sons, David (Rebecca) Young of North Lima, Robert (Boo) Young of Grapevine, TX, and Jerry (Dee) Young of Leetonia; three daughters, Mary Flynn of New Springfield, OH, Sally (Wayne) Stamp of Bristolville, OH, and Debbie Skaggs of Leetonia; fifteen grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Reed; her former spouse, James Francis Young, and two sisters, Dorothy Donoghue, and JoAnn Fulmer.

Friends may call Saturday June 23, 2018 from 4-6:00 p.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman, Ohio, 8536 Market Street, Boardman, Ohio 44512. There will be no funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests material contributions take the form of donations to Masternick Memorial care of "Activities".
