Margaret H. DiRienzo, 75 Poland- Margaret H. DiRienzo, 75, of Chardonnay Lane, died Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. Mrs. DiRienzo, affectionately known as Peg, was born November 10, 1931 in Youngstown, a daughter of Thomas B. and Charlotte McKittrick Hay. She was raised in Youngstown and lived in Ashtabula before moving to Poland in 1990. Peg was a 1949 graduate of East High School and was a stenographer for General Fireproofing and a secretary for Tabernacle United Presbyterian Church in Austintown. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Poland Presbyterian Church where she was an Ordained Deacon, member of its Friendship Circle and Mariners. In Ashtabula she was President of the Presbyterian Womenâa�a��s Association at the First Presbyterian Church. Peg was a former member of the Holborn Herb Growers Guild, Ohio Cultural Alliance and Touristor Club. She enjoyed cross country skiing, bowling and golfing. Peg was a gentle, kind, caring, and loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family. She leaves her husband, Benjamin A. DiRienzo, whom she married June 7, 1952; one daughter, Cynthia (Donald) Zimmermann of Holland, MI; two sons, David (Claudia) DiRienzo of Beaver Township and Douglas (Maureen) DiRienzo of Buffalo Grove, IL; one sister, Elizabeth Williams of Poland; seven grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Stacey, Kevin, John, Jaclyn and Patrick; and five great-granddaughters, Greer, Quinn, Reese, Lola and Addison. Besides her parents, Peg was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Bennett. Funeral services will be Saturday, 10:00 AM at the Poland Presbyterian Church. Friends may call today, Friday from 4-7 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM until 9:30 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland.
