Margaret B. (Peg) Dalrymple, 85 Struthers- Margaret Blanche (Peg) Dalrymple, 85, of 1060 Fifth Street died Tuesday morning at Park Vista Medical Center in Youngstown. Mrs. Dalrymple was born November 5, 1920 in Struthers a daughter of Elmer and Lola Kime Hoop. A lifelong resident of Struthers, Peg was a beauticianâa�¦beginning, as she said, riding a âa�A"woodenâa�A� bicycle to the homes of customers. In the forties she owned Pegâa�a��s Beauty Shop in Hubbard for several years. She then worked for several Struthersâa�a�� shops until her marriage and the purchase of her home where she opened Pegâa�a��s Beauty Shop in Struthers. For many years she did the hair at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home. She retired in 1975. Mrs. Dalrymple was a member of the Struthers Presbyterian Church where she formerly sang in the choir. She was a 1938 graduate of Struthers High School where she was a member of the archery and gym clubs and sang with various groups. Beside her husband, William T. Dalrymple whom she married July 4, 1946, upon his return from the Marine Corps after World War II, she leaves a son, Guy R. âa�A"Peteâa�A� Dalrymple and his wife, Judie, of Paris, Texas; a sister, Jane (Jack) Fithian of Boardman; a grandson, James (Jeannette) Dalrymple of Glendale, Arizona and a granddaughter, Kelly Dalrymple of Tyler, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers, where friends may call from 5-8 PM Thursday and from 9 to 9:45 AM Friday.
