Margaret âa�A"Peggyâa�A� Cox, 80 Poland- Margaret Cox, 80 of 2450 Clyde Street died Saturday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. She was born on May 21, 1924 in Youngstown, a daughter of Edward and Mary Altwies Sturm. She was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Cox was a 1943 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. She was a clerk at Gorant Candies. She was a charter member of Holy Family Church and was Past President of the Sweet Adelineâa�a��s in Youngstown. Her husband, Frank L. Cox, whom she married August 6, 1946, died December3, 2000. She leaves one daughter, Susan ( Bill ) Henthorne of Munroe Falls, OH; three sons, James ( Debbie ) Cox of Rogers, OH, Frank (Cathy ) Cox of Zionsville, IN, and Terrence(Linda) Cox of Poland; three sisters, Edna Adair and Mary Scott both of New Middletown, and Dorothy Reese of Boardman; one brother, Ed Sturm of Austintown; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Sturm; and a grandson, Joshua Cox. Funeral service will be Wednesday 9:30AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 10AM at Holy Family Church.
