Madeline D. Russell

Poland - Madeline D. Russell, 102, of Poland, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 11, 2008 in Hampton Woods Nursing Center. Madeline was born December 6, 1905 in Youngstown, a daughter of Charles and Gertrude Musgrave Russell. She was a lifelong area resident. A graduate of the Rayen School, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the former Fairview Emanuel Baptist Church, where she was secretary for the Sunday School. A beloved Aunt, Madeline was a kind, grateful, and contented person, whose life was her family and church. She will be great missed by her niece, Janice Higgins of Crown Point, Indiana; three nephews, Bill (Carole) Russell of Poland, John Russell of New Jersey, and Edward (Mary Ann) Russell; several great nieces and nephews including Karen (Doug) Aebischer of Poland and Bill (Val) Russell of Petersburg; and many great-great-nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Charles, and G. William Russell. Madelineâa�a��s family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Hampton Woods Nursing Home for their wonderful loving care. Funeral services will be held Friday, 1:00 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland with Pastor Bobby Murphy officiating.
