Lowellville - Madeline "Dolly" Adduch, 84, of Lowellville, died Wednesday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Adduch was born April 4, 1930 in Lowellville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Carmen and Mary Viano Conti. Her husband, Frank Adduch, whom she married on October 4, 1952, died on April 15, 1997.
She was a 1949 graduate of Lowellville High School. Mrs. Adduch was a cake decorator for Nemenz IGA Bakery in Struthers. She was well-known for her uniquely styled cakes.
Mrs. Adduch was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. She loved to travel with her late husband. She also enjoyed shopping and took great joy in maintaining the landscaping of her yard.
She is survived by one sister, Theresa Moro, who resides in Phoenix, Arizona; and a sister-in-law, Celia Conti, who resides in Lowellville. She leaves seven nieces and seven nephews: Michelle (Tom) Banks, Mary (Chris) Morrone, Bonnie (John) McCaleb, Nicolette (John) Wilaj, Gina (Greg) Haren, Frank (Tammy) Moro, and Lisa (John) Donofrio; 30 great-nieces and nephews; and 11 great-great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Adduch was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Conti.
A prayer service will be held Saturday, 9:45 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Lowellville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church with Fr. John Jerek officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received Friday from 4PM to 7 PM at the funeral home.
