Luisa B. DePasquale, 68 Lowellville- Luisa B. DePasquale, 68, of 239 Jaric Ave., died Monday at her residence. Luisa was born November 3, 1937, in Introdacqua Abruzzo, Italy, a daughter of Sylvestro and Elia Centofanti Berardo. In 1954 she left her country and was proud to join her brother Silvio in Hamilton, Ontario. While living in Canada she became a Canadian Citizen and worked in a candy factory. In 1959 she made her residence in Lowellville and later became a United States Citizen. Luisa was a seamstress for Strouss Department store and in the early 1980âa�a��s moved to Boston, Massachusetts where she was a seamstress for the Jordan Marsh Company. She later returned to Lowellville. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Lowellville. She was a member of the Mount Carmel Society and a former member of the Sonâa�a��s of Italy. Luisa loved cooking for her children and grandchildren. Her proudest accomplishments in life were being a mother and a grandmother. She leaves one daughter, Darlene (Mike) Basista of Lowellville; one son, Joseph (Jeanne) DePasquale also of Lowellville; four sisters, Gerbina (Joe) DiRienzo of Lowellville, Rina DeAngelis of Introdacqua Abruzzo, Italy, Ornelia (Ovidio) Spinosa of Stoney Creek, Ontario, and Laura (John) Pronio of Toronto, Canada; five grandchildren, Joey and Paolo DePasquale, Michael, Dante and Elia Basista; seventeen nieces and nephews; and twenty-four grandnieces and grandnephews. Besides her parents, a brother, Silvio Berardo and a brother-in-law, Salvatore DeAngelis preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Friday, 10:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville and 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
