Luis M. Vega

Luis M. Vega ,57 Struthers- Luis M. Vega, 57, of 531 Como Street died early Thursday morning of natural causes. Mr. Vega was born in Puerto Rico August 27, 1947, a son of Luis and Justina Lebron Vega. He was an East High School graduate and worked at Pittsburgh-Canfield Steal Metal Coating for 40 years. He also volunteered as a New Middletown EMT and served on the New Middletown Police Department. He was an avid golfer and hunter. He leaves his wife, the former Kathleen Norton, whom he married October 2002; a daughter, Jody Vega of New Middletown; a son, Luis (Tiffany) Vega of New Springfield; a step-daughter, Katie (Mike) Lindeman of Boardman; two sisters, Clara (Mario) Lebron of New York and Maria and Fayle of Maryland; and four grandchildren, Dusty Zembower; Jesse and Keaton Vega; and Alex Lindeman. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Pete Matos. Funeral services will be Monday 11 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers Friends may call Sunday from 4-7PM and Monday 10-10:45AM at the funeral home.
