Louise A. Spoljaric

Struthers - Louise A. Spoljaric, 72, of Struthers, died January 26, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Mrs. Spoljaric was born August 7, 1936 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of Andrew and Sara Foster Butinski. She was a 1954 graduate of The Rayen School. Mrs. Spoljaric worked as a waitress for the Elmton in Struthers, retiring in 2000. After retirement, she worked at Wal-Mart in Boardman for several years. She was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers. Mrs. Spoljaric enjoyed sewing, making crafts, and collecting coins. She also loved collecting Disney movies and sharing them with her grandchildren whom she loved spending time with. She leaves five sons, Donald Copanic Jr. of Hubbard, David (Brenda) Copanic Sr. of Youngstown, Dale (Norma) Copanic of Warren, Frank (Melissa) Spoljaric of Tallmadge, and Thomas (Tina) Spoljaric of Youngstown; stepdaughter, Doris I. White; sister, Marian Kutlesa of Struthers; two brothers, James (Anna) Butinski of Rockford, IL and Victor Butinski of Irving, TX; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Butinski. Funeral services will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
