Lowellville - Louise R. Liggett, 82, of Lowellville, passed away early Thursday morning, May 7, 2015 at Hospice of the Valley Hospice House.
Louise was born September 26, 1932 in Youngstown, OH. She was a daughter of William and Helen Kollar Pavuk.
She was raised in Youngstown and graduated from South High School in 1950.
She worked at the Youngstown Board of Realtors and retired from Ron Joy Nursing Home. Louise was a member and officer of the Lowellville Garden Club and a member of the former Struthers Presbyterian Church now known as Struthers Parkside Church.
Louise leaves her husband, John Liggett, whom she married March 18, 1966; two sons, Hunter (Michele) Liggett of Struthers and Tony (Kathy) Liggett of Las Vegas, NV; one granddaughter, Jeannie Liggett of Las Vegas; and her caregiver and friend, Brandy Kennedy.
Besides her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her brother, William Pavuk, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Lowellville with Pastor James Berkebile officiating. Interment will follow at the Lowellville Cemetery.
Friends will be received Sunday from 4-6 PM and Monday from 10-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
Louise's family would like to invite those who attend the funeral to join them for a luncheon at the Davidson-Becker Family Center at 10 Spring Street in Struthers.
