Louise A. Kaiser

Norfolk,VA - Louise A.Kaiser, 89, formerly of Youngstown, died May 24, 2016 at Sentara Hospice House in Virginia Beach.

Mrs. Kaiser was born May 27, 1926 in Youngstown, a daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Mraz Mezei.

She was a 1944 Chaney High School graduate.  Louise worked at Stambaugh's first as a clerk and then later in the office.  That is where she met her husband to be, Sam. She also worked for Ohio Bell as a long distance operator. She was a member of Boardman United Methodist Church,Her husband, Sam, whom she married Dec. 8, 1951, died Nov. 14, 2001

She is survived by one daughter, Elise (Michael) Spoto of Chesapeake, VA; one son, Charles (Jenna Woche) Kaiser of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren, Traciann and Kristopher Kaiser; Andrew and Lauren Spoto; John and Wil Harrison; and two great-grandchildren, Jake and Eli.

Louise moved to Virginia Beach in 2003 and lived at her home until recently. She enjoyed being close to her family. She was an avid Cleveland and Ohio State sports fan.  She would check Vindy.com daily to keep her children updated on what was happening “back home” in Youngstown.

Besides her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by one son, Ken Kaiser, whom passed away in 2013; and two brothers, Joseph and Andrew Mezei; and three sisters, Mary Sarkett, Gaye Kaschak, and Irene Martinko

Services will be held at Davis-Becker Funeral Home Boardman, Saturday at 11:00 AM with  Pastor Pamela Buzalka  officiating.  Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown.

Friends and family will be received Saturday from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in her memory to Hospice of the Valley in Youngstown, or the Sentara Hospice House, 6015 Poplar Hall Dr., Norfolk, VA 23502.
