Cleveland - Louise M. Ecelbarger, 92, of Cleveland, formerly of Canfield, died Wednesday morning, October 3, 2012 at The Waterford at Richmond Heights in Cleveland.
Louise was born August 7, 1920 in Youngstown, a daughter of William and Harriet Nott Defendeifer.
She was raised in Struthers and was a 1938 graduate of Struthers High School. Louise attended Youngstown Business College and graduated in 1940. For 40 years Louise worked at Kessler Insurance Company and then 11 years for Cailor Fleming Insurance Company. She was a life-long member and former treasurer of the Struthers United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Richard Ecelbarger, whom she married May 15, 1954, died December 11, 2000. She leaves several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by one sister, Laverne Perkins and one brother, Randall Defendeifer.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 1:30 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers with Pastor Doug Theobold officiating.
Friends will be received Friday from 11:30 AM to 1:15 PM at the funeral home, Struthers,Ohio.
