POLAND - Louis Arthur Leombruno, Jr., 69 of Poland, died Friday morning July 3, 2009 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown.
Mr. Leombruno was born December 16, 1939 in Youngstown, a son of Louis and Mildred Solic Leombruno. He was a life long area resident.
Mr. Leombruno was a 1958 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He worked as a welder for Boardman Steel. After retirement he worked for the Allied Erecting Dismantling as a welder. Mr. Leombruno loved golfing, growing tomatoes and playing cards. He was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Esquire Club, Catholic War Vets and the Eagles Post 213 in Youngstown.
Besides his mother of Boardman, he is survived by his life partner, Sandy Mink of Boardman, one brother Bill Leombruno of Boardman, three sisters Mary Ann (Don) Kane of Canfield, Martha (Bob) Krompegel of Boardman and Doretta DeLisio of Boardman three nieces Kim Krompegel, Karla Krompegel, Amy DeLisio and two nephews Don (Trish) Kane, Bill DeLisio.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Arthur Leombruno Sr.
Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 am at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Youngstown. Interment will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens in Canfield.
Family and friends will be received Sunday from 1-4 at the Davidson - Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, where prayer services will be held Monday at 9:15 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St, Boardman, OH 44512.
