Struthers - Lou Ann McLeod, died March 31, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Mrs. McLeod was born in Pike County, Kentucky on August 7, 1916, daughter of John and Mary Bentley Elkins.
She is survived by a son, Paul (Andrea) McLeod of West Palm Beach, FL; a sister Mable (Frederick) Dickison of Wilmington, IL; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren..
Lou Ann was a very loving mother and grandmother who was always laughing, dancing, and joking with everyone. She loved going to church and she and her husband went to Florida for 22 winters. She was a wonderful sister and will be missed by all her family a friends.
Besides her parents, Lou Ann was preceded in death by her husband Merrill; two daughters, Patricia Scardina and Phyllis Reece; a son, Frank McLeod; siblings, Cloevia Stewart, Challie Elkins, Alonzo Elkins, Hobert Elkins, Vada Rose Quillen, Sue Galant, Margaret Robinson, Clifford, Chester, and Charles Elkins.
Services will be held Friday at 11:00AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
Friends will be received Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday from 10:00-10:45AM at the funeral home
