Loretta L. Mound, 84
YOUNGSTOWN Loretta L. Mound, 84, died Dec. 2, 2012, at the Hospice House.
Mrs. Mound was born July 31, 1928, in Youngstown, a daughter of Federico Petti and Maria Christina (Pezzenti).
She was a 1946 graduate of South High. Mrs. Mound worked for the former Ohio Edison Financial, which is now Edison Financial. She was a member of the New Life Lutheran Church in Liberty Township, where she was in the choir.
Loretta also was a member of the Sweet Adeline¹s Choral Group and was an artist, where she was in the Boardman Art Guild.
Her husband, Charles E. Mound, whom she married June 24, 1950, died Aug. 10, 2010.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Lynn (Donald) Druck of West Chester and Judith Neva (Kenneth) Hall of Struthers; seven grandchildren, Ashley
(Jason) Scott of Troy, Kenneth Harris of Tempe, Ariz., Michael (Rachel) Harris of Grand Haven, Mich., Shaun and Kalea Hall of Struthers, and Liza and Philip Druck of West Chester; three great-grandchildren, Aidan David Scott, Sophia Grace Harris and Madison Faith Harris; one brother, Dr. John
(Maxine) Petti of Scottsdale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Christine Mound; and one sister, Clementine Guido.
Services will be held at Saturday at 10 a.m. at the New Life Lutheran Church, 1181 Churchill-Hubbard Road in Liberty Township, with Pastor Bill Wessner officiating.
Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers and Saturday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church.
