Lora J. Cooper, 59
Boardman - Lora J. Cooper, 59 of Boardman, died Monday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. Lora was born October 7, 1959 in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Irene (Garasky) Bosko and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and had worked as a medical secretary in transcription. After her retirement, she started her own perfume oil business which was her passion. Lora was a fitness enthusiast and she especially enjoyed Yoga. She was a Life Banc donor.
Besides her husband, Stephen Cooper, whom she married May 7, 1987, she leaves her mother of Youngstown; two sisters Karen Hoover of Youngstown and Janet (Dan) Miller of Columbus, and numerous extended family members. She also leaves behind her beloved pets, Hollywood, Brooklyn, Bullet and Shinedown.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday April 27, 2019 at Faith Covenant Community Church, 1919 E. Midlothian Blvd, Youngstown with Pastor Michael Zabel officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to Angels for Animals, 4750 W. South Range Road, Canfield, Ohio 44406 in memory of Lora.
Lora gave the gift of life by to being a Life Banc donor.
Arrangements are by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
