Lowellville - Lola M. Gross, 87 of Lowellville,died Saturday, November 15, 2008 at her daughters residence. Mrs. Gross was born Saturday, December 18, 1920 in Lowellville,a daughter of James & Michelina DiCicco. Bisconti, and was a life long area resident. She worked as a Custodian for the Lowellville Schools for 30 years, she was a member of the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Gross loved to cook and bake, and especially loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her husband, Joseph "Bip" Gross, Sr., whom she married February 12, 1938, died March 24, 2008. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Pat) Angelilli of Poland, and Susan (Tom) Purucker of Ft. Mills, SC; one son, Joseph (Barbara) Gross, Jr. of York, SC; ten grandchildren, Victoria (Rick) Albright, John (Lisa) Angelilli, Ronald (Caroline) Angelilli, Michael (Jennifer) Angelilli, Brian Angelilli, Joseph (Heather) Gross, III, James (Rita) Gross, Michaelyn Purucker, Tom (Marie) Purucker and Richard (Leigh) Purucker; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Katie Sheldone of Lowellville, and two brothers Nick (Violet) Bisconti of Lowellville, and James Bisconti, Jr of Lowellville. Besides her parents, and husband of 70 years, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers Ernest and Carl Ramunno; and Tony Bisconti. The Gross family would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to Forum Health Hospice for there loving care given to Mrs. Gross. Funeral services will be held at Holy Rosary Church, Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 10:30 am with Rev. G. David Weikart officiating. Interment will follow in the Holy Rosary Cemetery. Family and friends will be received 5-8 P.M., Tuesday, November 18 at the at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville, where prayer services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am Condolences may be sent at www.beckerobits.com .
