Lois Elizabeth Susany

Lowellville - Lois Elizabeth Susany, 88, of Lowellville, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Susany was born July 13, 1920 in Lowellville, a daughter of Sante and Anna Marie McCree Pedulla. She was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1938 graduate of Lowellville High School and was a homemaker. Mrs. Susany was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and the Mt. Carmel Club. She loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends. Mrs. Susany was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State. Her husband, Rudolph "Rudy" Susany, whom she married October 6, 1949, died September 22, 2002. She leaves her son, Dave (Rebecca) Susany of Struthers; three grandchildren, Gina (Travis) Roth of Columbiana, Lauren Susany of Lowellville, and Taylor Susany of Struthers; and a sister-in-law, Vivienne Pedulla of Orlando, FL. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony Pedulla; and five sisters, Jenny DeLucia, Amelia Brent, Jessie Mohr, Ida Pedulla, and Eleanor Amicone. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Lowellville and 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church with Rev. G. David Weikart officiating.
