Lois J. Koeppen

Youngstown - Lois J. Koeppen, 48, of Youngstown, died Friday, March 7, 2008 at her residence. Lois was born July 26, 1959 in Youngstown, a daughter of Robert E. and Dorothy M. Halter McCausland. A 1977 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Lois also attended Kent State University. She worked as a medical assistant and had previously taught at Schoffin Career Center. She leaves her parents; a son, Brian Koeppen of Youngstown; a brother, Marc McCausland of Youngstown; two aunts, Marjorie Halter of Poland and Joan Sopko of North Lima; and an uncle, William (Molly) Halter of North Lima. Lois was preceded in death by three uncles, Paul Halter, Clarence Halter, and David Sopko; and an aunt, Lois Sopko. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Interment will follow in Lake Park Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Lois' name to a charity of their choice.
