Lois E. Jackson (Paden), 83
POLAND – Lois E. Jackson (Paden), 83, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, with her family by her side.
Lois was born March 6, 1933, in Youngstown, a daughter of Lester and Frances Paden.
She worked for over 30 years at Welding Equipment Repair Shop with her husband and brother-in-law and then with her sons Gary and Jeff. She recently retired in December of 2015. Lois enjoyed cooking, baking, and doing crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David “Doc” Jackson, whom she married Dec. 29, 1952; two brothers, Donald and Dale Paden; and the love of her life, her daughter, Darlene DeGenaro.
Lois leaves to cherish her memory, her three sons, David (Linda) of Poland, Gary (Kelly) of Campbell, and Jeff (June), with whom she made her home. She also leaves a son-in-law, Steve DeGenaro; seven grandchildren, Steve(Lori), Nicole (Nate) DeGenaro, Samantha and Sara Jackson, David and Kara Jackson, and Wendy (Rick) Marsico; nine great-grandchildren; brother -in-law Jake Jackson; and sister-in-law Joanne Rider.
Per Lois’s request she wants no services or calling hours.
Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
