Linda Barth Sisek

Poland-Linda Barth Sisek, 69, passed away on July 5, 2019 at Ohio Living Park Vista Retirement Community after a lengthy illness.

Linda was born on July 15, 1949 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Marx A. and Phyllis Notman Barth.

Linda was a graduate of Youngstown State University. She married her husband, James, on August 23, 1975 and lived in Liberty and Poland as well as a short time in Naples, Florida.  Linda enjoyed doing all crafts especially sewing and quilting. She exhibited many quilts and embroidered items at the Christmas at the Gallery at the Butler Institute of American Art and the Youngstown Country Club. Linda also loved painting ceramic figurines and cross stitching.

Linda was a member of The Junior League of Youngstown, a trustee of Potential Development for Children and the Youngstown Symphony Society, and a member of Angels of Easter Seals, The Youngstown Country Club, and The Lake Club.  She enjoyed winters in Sarasota, FL and spent many happy moments with "The Group" and with the Tourist Club in Youngstown.

Linda is survived by her husband, James, and her daughter Atty. Maggie Sisek Adams who lives in Amarillo, TX with her husband Dr. Ronald W. Adams and their twin boys, Orrin and Ross. Linda is also survived by her uncle, Arthur Williams, of Youngstown, her sister, Kathy (Philip) Klepper of Sarasota, FL, and her sister-in-law, Sandy (Brian) McCann of University Heights.

Friends and family may call on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at The First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown, 201 Wick Ave. A funeral service will immediately follow the calling hours on Monday at noon at the church. Interment will follow at Poland Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Linda's family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ohio Living Park Vista, 1216 5th Ave., Youngstown, OH 44504 or to The First Presbyterian Church, 201 Wick Ave, Youngstown, OH 44503.
