Boardman - Linda Marie Rovnak, 54, died on Saturday, November 28, 2015 in Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House. Linda was born November 26, 1961 in Youngstown, daughter of the late Mike and Irene Pauko Rovnak.
She was a 1980 graduate of Boardman High School and went on to graduate from The Pittsburgh Art Institute. She then earned her Bachelor's Degree in Art Education from Youngstown State University and her Master's Degree in Art Education from Walsh University. Linda was employed as an art teacher with the Youngstown Diocese and was an art enthusiast. She attended several art shows and enjoyed sculpting. She was an accomplished jewelry maker and enjoyed skiing, traveling, cooking and canning. Linda was an avid animal lover and had several pets through the years.
She leaves her sister, Lori Rovnak of Boardman; brother, Mark (Susie) Rovnak of Franklin, MA; niece, Paige Rovnak of Atlanta; nephew, Drew Harris of Scottsdale, AZ; dear friends, Debbie (Gerald) Kamensky, Laura (Tim) Elder, John (Kelli) Leshinsky, Chuck (Lisa) Leshinsky, Lynn Ann (John) Orr, Lisa (Guy) Young, Rick Fees and Mark Zidian.
In honoring her wishes, Linda will be cremated and there will be no services.
