Leroy Albert Houck, 90 Struthers- Leroy Albert Houck, 90, of Iroquois Street, died Tuesday evening at Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House. Mr. Houck was born February 5, 1916 in Hubbard, a son of Francis L. and Ida Marie Winkler Houck and was a life-long resident of Struthers. He was a superintendent for the The Hydril Company, located in the Youngstown Sheet and Tube, for over 40 years retiring in 1972. Mr. Houck was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church, where he was active in meals on wheels, lay visitation, and a member of its Boosters. He was a member of the Poland Masonic Lodge F&AM #766. Mr. Houckâa�a��s wife, the former Dorothy Caroline Reesh, whom he married June 11, 1936 died August 12, 1997. He leaves two sons, Dale (Carolyn) Houck of Harrisburg, PA., and Gary (Georgeann) Houck of Struthers; six grandchildren, Eric (Dorie) Houck, Lynn (Bryan) Como, Joshua (Jan) Houck and Katie Houck; three great-grandchildren, Alaura, Gianna and Leah Bella; and dear friend, Peg Hiner of Youngstown. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside committal service at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saturday at 11:15 AM. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12:00 Noon at Good Hope Lutheran Church. Friends may call Friday from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
