Poland - Leonard Leland "Ted" Lint, Jr., 80, of Poland, died Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Forum Health Northside Medical Center of natural causes. Ted was born Friday, May 4, 1928 in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, the son of Leonard and Emily Forejt Lint, Sr. He was a graduate of Washington High School and attended Waynesburg College. Ted worked as an insurance adjuster for Allstate Insurance Company for 30 years, retiring in 1990. Ted was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a member of Poland United Methodist Church. Ted was a member of the Sunset Lodge F & AM 623 and a 32nd degree Mason Scottish Rite, a member of the Poland Breakfast Club and Golf League, and a member of the Lowellville Rod & Gun Club. He leaves his wife, the former Betty Stiles, whom he married February 2, 1955; four daughters, Billie (Kenny) Lint-Callan-Doty of Woodstock, GA, Linda Lint-Kizar, Bonnie (Kirk) Lint-Denmeade, all of Orange Park, FL, and Terri Lint-Emler of Youngstown; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer (Bennie) Radclif of Jacksonville, FL, Darcy Faith Callan of Woodstock, GA, Sean Michael Callan of Woodstock, GA, Roni-Lyn Kizar of Parma, Jake Kizar of Poland, David (Carrie) Emler of Beaver, PA, and Rachel Emler of Youngstown; 5 great-grandchildren, Peyton Caroline Radclif, AJ Emler, Anneliese Emler, Elijah Stanavech, and Taylor Rene Stanavech; and a step-sister, Martha (Richard) Mellett of Statesboro, GA. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Dillon Joseph Emler. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 p.m. at Poland United Methodist Church.
