Leonard A. Coloutes, Jr. Poland- Leonard A. Coloutes, Jr., 52, passed away quietly at his home in Poland, Wednesday morning, surrounded by loved ones as his courageous, yearlong battle with Leukemia came to an end. Len was born April 4, 1954, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Leonard A. Sr., and Connie Ambrose Coloutes. A 1973 gradate of Poland Seminary High School, Len was the owner and chief executive officer of L.L. & D. Insurance Agency in Poland, which was founded by his father in 1973. The company will continue to remain in the family, under the ownership of his wife, Judy Coloutes. Before joining his father in the business in January 1989, Len received training from Metropolitan Insurance and All State Insurance Company. He was an avid bowler and a life-long fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians. He earned his black belt in Karate, enjoyed kickboxing, exercising and hosting backyard Bar-B-Qs for family and friends. His devoted wife, Judith L. DeLisio, whom he married September 1, 1982, and their three children will sadly miss, Len. Judy never left Lenâa�a��s side throughout his long ordeal, and their children, son Lee and daughters, Elizabeth and Rebecca were his pride and joy, the loves of his life. He also will be missed by his beloved faithful companion, his dog Dakota, who stayed sleeping at his side to the end. He is survived by his mother, who dearly loved him and will miss him greatly; his sisters, Connie (Michael) Shaffer of Akron, Toni (Jeff) Martin of Columbus, Donna Jean Coloutes of Youngstown and Barbara (William) Gentile of Canfield; his brother Dominic Coloutes of Tampa, Florida; and his many nieces and nephews. His father preceded him in death. Memorial services will be held Saturday, 3:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland where friends may call from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
