Lena Modarelli âa�" 92 POLAND âa�"Lena Modarelli, 92, of 2284 Venloe Dr. died Friday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Mrs. Modarelli was born March 6, 1915 in Youngstown, a daughter of Anthony & Carmela Galluppi. She moved from Campbell to Poland 30 years ago. She was a graduate of East High School and a member of New Life Assembly of God in Poland where she was a member of the Women of the Word Sunday School Class and decorated the church for 16 years. She formerly was a clerk for McKelveyâa�a��s Department Store, Hills, and during the Great Depression, she worked for the NYA. She leaves her husband, James W. Modarelli, of 66 years, whom she married July 6, 1940, one son; James A. (Marie) Modarelli of Poland, three grandchildren; Lisa (John) Skoloda, Lori A. (Eric) Wilson, and Mark J. Modarelli; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Daniel Skoloda. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, William and Anthony Galluppi. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 5-7 at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland, where funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 am, with Rev. Robert Reese officiating.
