Struthers - Lena Grace Eaton, 68, of Struthers, died January 16, 2009 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Boardman Campus. Mrs. Eaton, affectionately known as "Aunt Pete" by her numerous nieces and nephews, was born February 26, 1940, in Gallipolis, Ohio, a daughter of Riley and Della Ciders Berry. She was a 54 year resident of Struthers. A 1958 graduate of Struthers High School, Mrs. Eaton was an activities director for 20 years for the Paisley House and the Greenbriar, retiring in 2002. After retirement, she worked as a home health care aid with the Home Care Network. She was a lifetime member of the Struthers PTA, where she was past president. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren and was known by all for her heart of gold. Her husband, Albert Howard Eaton, whom she married February 24, 1968, died August 15, 1995. She leaves her daughter, Kim (Ray) Morris of Canfield; son, Scott (Sabrina) Eaton of Canfield; brother, James (Betty) Berry of Youngstown; four grandchildren, Samantha Adrienne Morris, Catherine Grace Morris, Cole Alexander Morris, and Scott Michael Eaton, Jr.; two stepsons, Timothy (Maggie) Eaton and Robert Eaton, both of Texas; and three stepgrandchildren, Amanda Sybelnik, Jacquelin Jones and April Harrinan. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Thurmond, Kenneth, and John Berry; and three sisters, Elsie Berry, Verna Dotson, and Mae Fanelli. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers. Interment will be at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Ashtabula.
