Lawrence B. Eaton

Lawrence B. Eaton, 93 Struthers-Lawrence B. Eaton, 93, of 499 Poland Ave. died Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center after a 5 week illness. Mr. Eaton was born in Clinton, PA a son of Harry and Margaret Robertson Eaton. He worked as a bus driver for W. R. T.A. for 36 ½ years retiring in 1977. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Youngstown for 64 years where he served as Sunday School Bus Driver for 34 ½ years, Custodian, on the church board, Sunday School Board, and Sunday School Teacher. He leaves his wife, the former Laura Mae Hiner of 47 years, whom he married September 9, 1957; a son, Kenneth B. Eaton of Rogers, OH; 3 grandchildren, Becky Eaton of North Lima, Jim (Lisa) Eaton of Brighton, MI, and Jeff (Becky) Eaton of North Lima; 3 great-grandchildren, Emily, Ryan, and Jacob; brother in Law, Clair Taylor of Salem; brother and sister in law, Dr. and Mrs. George Hazlett; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, John Robert Eaton two brothers, Jack and Fred Eaton; 5 sisters, Elva Thornbury, Margaret Eberle, Mary McDonald, Bertha Sainer, and Jessie Hufnagle; and a grandson, David Eaton. Funeral services will be Monday 2PM at New Covenant Worship Center Church of the Nazarene in Youngstown. Friends may call one hour prior at the church.
