Laverne C. Codner âa�" 91 NILES -- Laverne Charlene Codner, 91, of Autumn Hills Nursing Home died Sunday evening. She was born in Pittsburgh December 13, 1915, a daughter of Otto & Ida Peterson. She moved from Pittsburgh to the Youngstown area in 1917. Mrs. Codner was a homemaker, and was a member of the Beacon of Hope Baptist Church in Warren, and the West Area Rebecca Lodge in Struthers. Her husband, Robert A. Codner, whom she married January 1 ,1937, died May 10, 1995. She leaves one daughter, Roberta (William) Koupiaris of Warren, one son, Ross (Dee) Codner of Boise, ID., one sister, Julie Bupp of Warren, one brother John (Sandy) Davies of Mansfield, two grandsons Randall Violante and Ross Codner, Jr., and three great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one grandson, Ronald Violante, II., three brothers Otto Peterson, Ludwic Peterson, Windsor Peterson, and one sister, Katherine Peterson. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
