Boardman - Larry T. McCollough, 72, of Boardman, died Monday afternoon, December 8, 2014 at Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House.
Larry was born October 30, 1942 in East Liverpool, OH, a son of the late John and Ruth Pratt McCollough. He was a life-long resident of East Liverpool until moving to Boardman three years ago.
Larry graduated in 1960 from East Liverpool High School where he was on the wrestling team and was never pinned. After high school he enlisted in the United States Navy and served on the U.S.S. Boston during the Cuban Missile Crisis. After the Navy, Larry returned to East Liverpool and worked as a Medical Technician for Bausch & Lomb.
There are some men too gentle to live with wolves.
Larry leaves four sons, Mark, Todd, Brad, and Tommy; one sister, Shirley (Donald) Roberts of Struthers; one brother, John McCollough of Glendale, AZ; and one half brother Denny Fetty.
Private Memorial Service will be held Friday at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
