Boardman - Larry L. Dorschner, Jr. 67, died Sunday evening, August 12, 2018 in the Emergency Room at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

Larry was born July 2, 1951 in Neenah, Wisconsin, the son of Lawrence L. and Janet (Kehl) Dorschner, Sr.

Larry was raised in Wisconsin and relocated to Minnesota with his family as a teenager. He was a 1969 graduate of New Ulm High School and received his Bachelor's Degree in Education and Psychology from Minnesota State University Mankato.

Larry began working for Trinity Holdings, Inc. in 1998, serving as the publisher of Gateway Community Newspapers in Pittsburgh until 2000 when he was moved to the publisher position of the company's only daily newspaper, the Morning Journal in Lisbon. The company was purchased in 2003 by Ogden Newspapers and Larry continued as publisher of the Morning Journal, while adding the publisher duties for The Review and Salem News in 2005.

A man of strong faith, Larry was a longtime member of the Poland Presbyterian Church, where he served as a deacon and elder.

Family meant everything to Larry and he was a devoted husband, father, Papa, father-in-law, brother, and uncle. He will always be remembered for his loving nature, kindness, hard work ethic, and his positive attitude.
