Poland - Kevin Stephen Almasy, 55, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
Kevin was born July 24, 1968 in Youngstown, OH, a son of Stephen "Moose" and Sally Constantino Almasy.
A lifelong area resident, Kevin was a 1986 graduate of Struthers High School, where he proudly wore the #28 jersey for the Struthers Wildcats football team. He continued his education and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business and Marketing from Youngstown State University. Kevin worked many years managing his family's business, LaVilla Sports Bar & Grill, and was a partner in Sky King Fireworks.
Kevin loved all things sports and especially rooting for his beloved Minnesota Vikings. Some of his favorite pastimes were golfing at Mill Creek and Knoll Run, fishing with his children, watching scary movies, and decorating his front lawn for the holidays. Authentic and original, Kevin had a unique sense of style that included his many track suits complete with matching shoes. Kevin's larger than life personality and generosity that he showed to so many will be lovingly remembered and missed by many.
Kevin leaves to carry on his memory, his mother Sally Almasy of Poland; his children, Santino Almasy of Las Vegas, Rocco Almasy, and Gia Almasy, both of Canfield; sister, Dionne (Bob) Roberts of Canfield; nephew, Sterling Roberts of Canfield; and many loved cousins.
In addition to his father, Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rocco and Mary Constantino; and paternal grandparents, Stephen and Anna Almasy.
