POLAND -- Kenneth W. Klase, age 88, of Diana Drive, passed away Sunday morning, January 13th, at the Omni Manor Health Care Center in Youngstown. Mr. Klase was born in Homestead, PA on July 18, 1919, a son of Michael and Barbara Bach Klase. He moved to Poland in 1959. He attended East High School and was a World War II Marine Veteran. He retired from the Teamsters and was of the Lutheran faith. His wife, the former Eleanor Lightbody, whom he married November 6, 1938, died November 5, 1996. He leaves two daughters, Dorothy (Joseph) McNally of Poland and Laura (Thomas) Billock of Boardman; two sons, Kenneth (Marie) Klase of Poland and Michael Klase of Boardman; one brother, William Klase of Youngstown; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, William Klase; two sisters, Virginia Disler and Ruth House; and a daughter-in-law, Lucy Klase. There will be no calling hours.
