Kenneth L. Jones

Kenneth L. Jones, 86, of Poland, passed from this life Sunday evening at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. He was born August 14, 1917 in Liberty, a son of Frank L. and Mary Jane Packer Jones, and was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Jones was a 1935 Chaney High School graduate. He worked at the Truscon Manufacturing Division of LTV for 45 years, serving first as a dispatcher and then as a shipping clerk. He enjoyed church and senior citizen activities, and shared his integrity, sense of humor, and his commitment to Jesus Christ with those who knew him. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, the former Margaret A. Korsala, whom he married July 10, 1946, and a daughter, Dr. Mary Jane Jones of Streetsboro. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore A. (Ted) Jones and Herbert L. Jones. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
