Edinburg - Kathy Lynn Heitzenrater, 56, passed away, peacefully, early Saturday morning, April 12, 2014 at her residence.
Kathy was born January 8, 1958 in Uniontown, PA, a daughter of Kenneth and Hazel DeVault Sumey.
A 1975 graduate of Uniontown High School, Kathy worked for Liberty Mutual in New Castle for over 17 years. She was a member of the New Castle Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall.
Kathy enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, decorating her home, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves her husband of 37 years, Gary Heitzenrater, whom she married October 9,1975; her mother, Hazel Sumey; daughter, Melissa Heitzenrater of Edinburg; twin grandchildren, Johnathon Lucas and Juliet Elise Whitfield; two sisters, Donna Baird of New Middletown and Louise (Ron) Mullins of Poland; two brothers, Gary (Carol) Sumey of Orlando, FL, and Timothy (Carrie) Heitzenrater, Sr. of New Middletown; mother-in-law, MaryAnn Heitzenrater; two sisters-in-law, Jackie (Ron) Duvall of Dover, OH, and Debra Arena of Farrell, PA.
Besides her father, Kathy was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Bryner.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 15th at 6pm at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 4-5:45 pm at the funeral home.
