Kathryn Uhlin

Kathryn Uhlin, 96, died November 29, 2016 at Assumption Village.
Mrs. Uhlin was born April 29, 1920 in Youngstown, a daughter of Frank and Mary Lushinsky.
She was an East High School graduate and was a homemaker. Kathryn was a charter member of Holy Family Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed quilting.
Her husband, Stephen Uhlin, whom she married Nov. 26, 1942, died Aug. 25, 1994.
Kathryn is survived by three sons, Phillip Uhlin, Dr. Stephen Uhlin, and Dr. Robert Uhlin; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Lushinsky; and one sister, Nina Lushinsky.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Church, Friday at 11:00 AM with Msgr. William J. Connell officiating. Interment will follow at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received Friday from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the church.
Although flowers are beautiful, the family request donation be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.
