Kathleen M. Felt

Struthers - Kathleen M. Felt, 59, died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, November 14, 2016.

Kathleen, known by family and friends as "Kathie," was born May 23, 1957 in Youngstown, a daughter of Michael and Helen Mikula Felt.

A lifelong resident of Struthers, she was a 1975 graduate of Struthers High School. Kathie worked for many years as a jeweler for Kings Jewelry in the Boardman Plaza and most recently for Optical One as a technician.

Kathie was an animal lover and enjoyed her companionship from her dogs, Sandy, Bogey, and DJ over the years. In her free time, she enjoyed watching her favorite soap opera, Days of Our Lives, and collecting Tweety Bird memorabilia.

Kathie is survived by her two brothers, Michael (Barb) Felt of Washingtonville and John (Denise) Felt of Canfield; three nephews, Daniel, Timothy, and Christopher Felt; two nieces, Danielle and Jennifer Felt; cousins, Edward Skokan of Youngstown and Donna (David) Skokan Danko of Austintown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant brother, Michael Andrew Felt.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 6-6:45 p.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., where a service will follow at 7 p.m. with Fr. Mykhaylo Farynets officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial tributes may take the form of contributions in Kathie's name to Angels for Animals, 4750 State Route 165, Canfield, Ohio 44406.
